The Vaccination Decision Support System (SADV in French) is the first building block of the vaccination information system used by Mentor.
Originally designed in 2009, the SADV was redesigned in 2022. It can now be used in several languages with greater flexibility and adaptability. It allows for the localization of a set of rules for an institution, a region, or a country. It also enables the implementation of other application areas (cancer screening, antibiotic therapy management, travel medicine).
The SADV is based on official recommendations (marketing authorization files and national or ministry of health vaccination guidelines). It is updated directly by experts within 48 hours of the publication of a vaccination recommendation. The results (recommendations) produced by the SADV are fully traceable. Each rule is associated with one or more test cases. Every new publication of rules requires the prior automated analysis of all test cases. An expert validates any discrepancies observed compared to the previous publication, ensuring compliance of the recommendations and the absence of regression.
The SADV is an exclusive tool developed by the company SYADEM.
