Step 3 of the Mentor process allows you to enter the characteristics necessary for establishing the vaccination status. These characteristics are grouped into categories and subcategories within a questionnaire.
This step is optional but essential for obtaining a personalized vaccination audit. This audit brings together different vaccination statuses, disease by disease.
Health profile characteristics may include biometric elements (height, weight), medical history, lifestyle or living conditions, occupation, and more.
The characteristics can be of 3 types:
- date type (e.g., date of the last COVID history),
- numeric type (such as height and weight),
- boolean type (true/false checkbox, such as a history of a particular disease).
Each characteristic entered may affect the vaccination status regarding one or more diseases.
For example, body mass index (BMI) is calculated from height and weight. If elevated, this index may justify certain vaccination recommendations. Similarly, some occupations may determine specific recommendations or vaccination requirements. Medical history may either indicate or contraindicate certain vaccinations.
To search for a characteristic, you can:
- either browse through the different categories,
- or directly enter the characteristic in the search field.
By exploring the different categories.
To search for, for example, height, you must click on the “Medical history” category and then on “Biometry”: height and weight are the two biometric characteristics that can be entered.
Once a characteristic has been entered, it appears in the summary area (Area 3) on the right.
By directly entering the characteristic you are looking for
Enter “height” in the search field:
The search for a term is performed on both the label of the characteristic and the text of its help (accessible via the question mark located to the right of the label).
Thus, if you search for “allergy”, here are the suggestions:
If a characteristic is not found in the health profile form, it means that it has no impact on the vaccination status. For example, the profession “computer scientist” is not included in the questionnaire because it does not imply any vaccination recommendation. The same applies to medical history: epilepsy is not mentioned in the form because no vaccination recommendation is linked to this condition.
Once the characteristics have been entered (or not), click on the “Next” button to proceed to Step 3: Vaccines received.
