Step 2 is optional and allows you to enter the parameters of a possible trip. This may be to a single or multiple destinations.
A drop-down list lets you choose the travel conditions:
- comfortable;
- intermediate;
- adventurous.
This choice, like the ones that follow, is important for developing personalized vaccination recommendations. Indeed, an “adventurous” trip (trekking, stay in the forest, basic accommodation, etc.) carries more risks regarding certain diseases than a “comfortable” trip (beach holiday, international hotel, etc.).
Next, indicate the departure and return dates: these two parameters make it possible to calculate the duration of the trip in the visited area. Recommendations can be developed depending on the departure and return dates (for example, stay during the rainy season or during an epidemic period for certain diseases) or depending on the length of the stay (a long stay may increase the risk of certain diseases, such as rabies or Japanese encephalitis).
Finally, choose the destination country.
If the trip includes multiple destinations, click on “Add a travel stage” and repeat the entry for each new destination.
Once a trip has been entered (or not), click on the “Next” button to move on to Step 3: the health profile.
